artist’s biography
Beth Pite is a member of the Connecticut Pastel Society and an award-winning artist who has been exhibiting professionally since 1996. Her work has been in juried shows in Connecticut and Rhode Island, and is in private collections from coast to coast.
Beth attended the University of Connecticut's School of Fine Arts and received training at Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven, the West Hartford Art League and Mystic Art Association. She has studied with nationally known painters Frank Federico, Susan Ogilvie, Doug Dawson and Gigi Horr Liverant.
Her frequent solo exhibits have included the Artists Cooperative Gallery of Westerly. RI, and CT venues such as Charter Oak Cultural Center and Butler-McCook House in Hartford, Reservoir Financial in Mansfield, Madison's France Ameriques, The McAuley in West Hartford, Jewish Home for the Elderly of Fairfield County, St. Francis Hospital's wellness center, Studio 33 in New London and Capital Community College's Conrad Mallett Gallery.
